The Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center at The Ohio State University is excited to announce a new initiative with Hatching Results to deliver an extensive array of professional development sessions to Middle and Jr. High School Counselors across Ohio.
The application for Ohio schools to be part of this initiative will be open until May 17, 2024.
The 4-year professional development series, facilitated by Dr. Brett Zyromski from OSU beginning in Fall 2024, will develop or enhance evidence-based, comprehensive school counseling programs that improve academic, career/postsecondary, and social-emotional outcomes for students in participating middle schools/Jr. High Schools. We’ll discuss programs that increase attendance,
reduce behavioral referral rates, increase academic achievement, and enhance your confidence to partner with families.
This professional development has been offered for more than 20 years to school districts around the country with proven success.
