Kaleena’s School Choice Story
We listened to families talk about how they chose a school for their child, and here is what we learned: Families are all unique in how they approach choosing a school and working with their child’s potential school!
In the video above, Kaleena shares that in 2020-21, remote learning was the best option for her kids and her family. And part of the reason it worked out well was that the school reached out to her to share ideas for keeping her children challenged and growing. Her story demonstrates the power of routine, 2-way communication between home and school to support student growth during the school year.
What made remote learning a good choice for Kaleena’s children? How did the school help? Watch and listen.
Share Kaleena’s Story with others so they know about the importance of home-school communication for student success, even during remote learning.

Kym’s School Choice Story

Today you’re hearing from a parenting adult sharing about how she chose a school for her child. Are you trying to figure out if a school is the right fit for your child? Kym has some great ideas for you.
Think about Kym’s story and what you can learn from it.
