Tim Latta is the School Counselor at Metro Early College Middle School in Columbus, Ohio. He began his counselor career as a professional clinical counselor (PCC) where he specialized in working with both adults and adolescents dealing with various mental health and substance abuse issues. In an effort to proactively work with adolescents, Tim decided that the school setting is the best place where his skills could be utilized. As a school counselor at Columbus Africentric Early College and Reynoldsburg High School Tim worked to sharpen his skills in the field of educational counseling. When the opportunity arose to join the Metro Early College Middle School staff, Tim leaped at the chance to join this innovative group. Tim is committed to building strong relationships with students and families. He enjoys helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
