Marguerethe Jaede, PhD, is the Director of Partnership4Success (P4S) an equity-centered collective impact initiative focused on improving social, emotional, and academic outcomes for young people. Employing a continuous improvement model, Marguerethe convenes a community of practice of over fifty youth service and education partners to collectively and intentionally make data-informed decisions on behalf of the children they serve. Previously, Marguerethe served as the Practitioner Liaison for the Higher Education Partnerships Office of the Columbus City Schools fostering collaborative partnerships with local universities to recruit, prepare, and retain highly effective urban teachers. Marguerethe has over 25 years of experience working in urban school districts as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, curriculum coordinator, and staff development specialist in Oakland and San Diego, California and Columbus, Ohio. Marguerethe is a Training Associate for both Cognitive CoachingSM and Adaptive Schools®. She supports individuals, groups, and communities to work thoughtfully and effectively in the presence of difference by illuminating the relationships between equity, culturally responsive pedagogy, coaching, and collaboration. These experiences have cultivated Marguerethe’s passion to work alongside educators to deepen collaborative and student-centered environments that foster thoughtful and data-informed adult responses to the needs of the children.
Marguerethe holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, a MA of Public Affairs from the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota, and a PhD in Multicultural and Equity Studies from The Ohio State University.
