The School-Based Health Care Support toolkit provides examples, advice, and other resources for providing school-based services. Having these services within schools can be a great support for student attendance, and is also supportive of parents who might otherwise have a hard time providing for the health needs of their children out of school time. The toolkit was designed by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, Ohio Department of Medicaid, Governor’s Office of Health Transformation, Ohio Department of Health, and Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
