Does my child need glasses?

One in four children in the U.S. has an issue with their vision (American Optometric Association, 2022). Children can get glasses at a very young age, including when they are a baby. Parents should take their child to get an eye exam if they notice any signs that their vision is bothering them. For example, if a child is rubbing their eyes, blinking often, tilting their head to one side while trying to read, or holding things close to their face to see. The Ohio SEE program has information for parents who are concerned about their child’s vision. Click the links below to learn more.
