Patrick Cunningham is a graduate research associate for the Center on Education and Training for Employment (CETE), working with The Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center. He is pursuing a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at OSU and previously worked as a high school counselor in a Raleigh, North Carolina and two smaller, private, international schools in Dubai and South Korea. His primary research interests are family engagement in mental health, evidence-based school counseling practices, and social justice in school counseling. For the Statewide Family Engagement Center, Patrick supports many of the projects that are taking place, focusing heavily on family engagement related to career exploration in middle school and student mental health and well-being.
