LISA M. HUNT serves as the Family Engagement Specialist for the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools. As a proud alumnus, with two sons who are also graduated from the Heights Schools, she is passionate about both the community and the school district she serves. Hunt is also honored to currently serve as board president of the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities. In addition to the work of building stronger family-school partnerships, Hunt also co-leads the District’s Equity Task Force. She is also a proud member of several other District Task Forces and committees. In 2013, she founded a parent group for students with disabilities called the Exceptional Children’s Advocacy Group (ECAG) which is still working to support CH-UH students and families. In partnership with another local district, Ms. Hunt co-facilitates the Family and Community Engagement Collaborative (FACE Collab) a supportive, professional learning community for inner-ring district practitioners. Hunt received her Master’s in Nonprofit Administration and Leadership from Cleveland State University, where she also minored in contemporary dance. The words “faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen” guide her daily work and life.  Â
