Kristy Shinaver is the Instructional Literacy Leader/Coach at Swanton Elementary School. She is beginning her 16th year in education. She is a certified local LETRS Facilitator/Trainer. Kristy earned her B.A. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Toledo in 2005, and then completed her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Teaching at Bowling Green State University. Teaching Title I for the first 11 years of her career led to a passion for literacy and working with families. Kristy and her husband have 2 daughters whom they love watching play travel softball among other sports.
