Dr. Ana-Paula Correia

Bio

Ana-Paula Correia, PhD, is a Professor of Learning Technologies and the Director of the Center on Education and Training for Employment, The Ohio State University, home to the Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center. She is an avid supporter of CETE’s Family Engagement initiatives. Dr. Correia has more than 25 years of experience in learning design and instructional systems technology. Specifically, Dr. Correia’s expertise lies in distance education, online and mobile learning, collaborative learning, and entrepreneurial education. To date, she published over 90 journal articles and book chapters in three different languages: English, Portuguese, and Spanish. In 2018 she published the book, Teaching Online Simplified: A Quick Guide for Instructors intended to serve as a practical guide or “handbook” for those who have limited or no prior knowledge in teaching and/or education but are interested in online teaching.
