Patrick Cunningham

Bio

Patrick is a doctoral student in Counselor Education at The Ohio State University and works as a Graduate Research Assistant for the Ohio Statewide Family Engagement Center. His main research interests include school-family-community partnerships, evidence-based school counseling practices, and antiracist school counseling. In his role as Graduate Research Assistant, he conducts research, develops resources, and guides professional learning sessions on the topics of family engagement in mental health and career exploration. Patrick’s background is in school counseling. He has worked in several different settings, including large public high schools in North Carolina and smaller, private, international elementary and high schools in Dubai and South Korea.
