Bonnie Jean Smith is a National and International Speaker and Trainer for Person Centered Thinking and Planning. She has been a multicultural specialist, Parent Advocate and trainer for PACER Center for 20 years. She is a member of the MN Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities, an evaluator for the MN State Council for Quality, and a member of the monitoring and Technical Review System team for the Fed. Administration on Developmental Disabilities. Bonnie Jean has also worked with high school students as a behavior specialist and as Early Childhood Educator and Director at an Early Learning Center. As the parent to 3, now, young adults with developmental disabilities, Bonnie Jean has used her parenting experiences and journey to help other parents by writing the books, “How Big is the Fly: Asking the Right Question? “and “Person Centered Planning; The Natural Rhythms of Life”.
