Four Ways to Build Relationships with Families At the Beginning of the School Year

In order to support families in their “5 essential roles to accelerate learning,” the Flamboyan Foundation has developed a 23 page guide focusing on four big ways educators can build strong relationships with families at the beginning of the school year. Each section of this guide could be pulled out and used as a handout during staff professional development meetings or teacher team meetings early in the school year! We also LOVE the pages of guidance specifically for school leaders.

Strategy 1: Welcome Calls
Strategy 2: Partnered Communication
Strategy 3: Family + Student Questionnaires
