As a teacher or school leader, how could you build in time for listening to families?

As a family, how could you build in time for listening to school staff and teachers?

During conferences, could you print off or write down the content you want to make sure the other person knows, and spend most of your precious time together hearing about the family’s hopes, dreams, strengths, and needs? You might learn many ways to work together throughout the school year and beyond to support student learning and growth.
